Detectives are appealing for help to trace a man, with links to Skipton, who was seen taking inappropriate photographs of a woman on board a train.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 29, on board the 8.11am Leeds to Plymouth service.

Det Con Ian Grice, of British Transport Police, said: “Between Leeds and Sheffield, the victim noticed a man sitting in an adjacent seat appearing to take inappropriate photographs of her with a mobile phone.”

Officers have analysed CCTV from the train, and stations, and released images of a man they want to speak to.

DC Grice added: “BTP will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 0800 40 50 40.
