Burst water main delays motorists in Thornbury

First published in News

A burst water main continued to cause delays for motorists in Bradford over the weekend, with repair works keeping the A647 Leeds Road at Thornbury partially closed.

The outside lane towards Leeds was closed between the Gain Lane junction and the B6154 Galloway Lane junction, with drivers being warned to approach the scene with care.

The incident occurred on Thursday morning, and had affected the water supply to three properties in the area, although this has now been restored.

The road was expected to be fully reopened by today.
