A fire at an unoccupied property in Fairweather Green at 3am today was believed to have been started deliberately.

The fire started in the lounge in the property in Charteris Road, with crews from Fairweather Green and Bradford atttending. No-one was injured in the incident.

Watch Commander Mark Hemingway, of Fairweather Green Fire Station, said: “Somebody has broken into the unoccupied property and set fire to the lounge.”
