Cadet Sergeant Leadbeater, now 17, has now started his 32-week basic training with the Marines.

The Bradford College student and former pupil of Whitcliffe Mount in Cleckheaton has been part of Bradford’s Royal Marine Detachment of the Sea Cadets since it began in 2011.
