A car was destroyed in an arson attack in Holme Wood, Bradford, early this morning.

Firefighters from Fairweather Green fire station were called to Tyersal Lane at about 4am.

The vehicle was believed to be a Mitsubishi 4x4, said a fire service spokesman, who added: “It was deliberate. Cars do not just park up down Tyersal Lane and set on fire.”

No-one was injured in the fire, said the spokesman.
