An annual school Mela held in Little Horton next month will bring a host of international stars together to help raise money for charities.

On June 14, Grange Technology College hosts the Mela in aid of the Al Imdaad Foundation and Human Appeal charities to support their Syria emergency appeal and orphan sponsorship programmes.

Grange, co-located at the Southfield Grange Campus, will welcome world renowned artists including singers Zain Bhikha, Saif Adam, Khalid Belrhouzi and Dawud Wharnsby, lyricist and vocalist Dawud Khalil Ismail, football freestyler Colin Nell and beatboxer, Homecut.

The school opens its doors to the community from 11am to 6pm, where visitors will be able to browse and purchase from stalls selling items such as cup cakes, Hijabs, and a variety of food.
