The first gala to be held for decades in Fagley will take place on Saturday, June 7.

Organised by community centre staff, volunteers, Bradford Council and Incommunities, it will take place at Fagley Community centre, Fagley Road, from noon until 4.30pm.

Attractions will feature children’s rides, a bouncy castle, face painting, games and stalls with refreshments.

Local choir Castaways will perform, there will be a children’s fancy dress contest to be judged and the Gala King and Queen to be crowned.
