Thousands of visitors have been flocking to Skipton this bank holiday weekend for the Waterway Festival.
The hugely popular 13th annual festival, which started on Saturday and concludes today, has seen boaters from across the country descending on the town with their cycling-themed decorated boats, adding to the colourful spectacle.
In addition to the boats, families have been able see live bands, morris dancing, craft stalls, birds of prey and children’s rides.
Speaking last night, Ian Clarke, of organisers Pennine Cruisers, said: “It’s been really busy.
“We are up on numbers from previous years to the point where I think there’s been a good 3,000 to 4,000 people pottering around here today.
“They all seem to be enjoying themselves. It was also crammed yesterday.”
Among the highlights of the festival was a raft race, with 11 rafts taking part.
Mr Clarke said the wide variety of music had also proved popular with visitors.
