Bradford women share their views with a visiting politician

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Bradford women share their views with a visiting politician Bradford women share their views with a visiting politician

About 30 Asian women who often feel their views are neglected were able to share their opinions with a visiting politician.

The group was invited to a house visit on Bradford Road in Shipley with Yasmin Qureshi (centre), MP for Bolton South East. She said: “I was delighted to spend the afternoon in Bradford meeting with and listening to local women. They all had extremely well informed opinions and valuable contributions to make on a whole host of issues from the NHS to welfare cuts, from education to the cost of living crisis.

“But they feel that too often they have not been listened to – we have to do more to engage women from ethnic minority backgrounds in the political process. I’m proud to be playing a part in Labour making sure that’s exactly what we’re doing here in Bradford.”

Since when have *we* in the UK ever been listened to ?

And re. the ballot box, I refer you to this statement made a while ago :

"If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal"

Democracy here might not be perfect but at least we don't murder our opponents... .. .Yet!

It would be nice if they could get all the politicians in a to the death cage match with the promise of election for the last man standing then just shoot that last politician and we might just stand a chance in this country.

With a vile attitude like that, I'm not surprised you're ignored.
