Happy Tots winner Addison-Lee O’Reilly checks out his own prize-winning image.
The two-year-old from Ravenscliffe used his ready smile to charm the voters in this year’s event, run in conjunction with the Kirkgate shopping centre, though the competition was the closest in its 13-year history, with just 30 votes separating him from the runner-up.
Mum Victoria said: “It is his smile that does it. Everywhere we go, people compliment him on his smile and his eyes. He looks so happy all the time.”
Centre manager Catherine Riley said Happy Tots had now become a firm part of the centre’s annual calendar and was hugely popular. “Everyone is a winner, because people get lovely pictures of their children,” she said.
Winners in all age categories were given framed prints and a pass to a play centre, with £500 in vouchers for the overall winner.
