Members of Bradford’s St David’s Society will be heading to Harrogate next month for the Yorkshire and the North East of England Welsh Hymn-Singing Festival.
Trinity Methodist Church in Trinity Road will be hosting the event on Saturday, May 10.
People travel from as far afield as Newcastle and Nottingham, Hull, Leeds and Manchester to take part in the festival which attracts about 100 worshippers.
This year the singing will be led by Yvonne Robert who is originally from the Prestatyn area and the organist will be Nicholas Page. Most of the hymns are sung in Welsh but spoken parts of the services are bilingual.
