Workers had to evacuate a factory in Bradford when a forklift truck caught fire last night.

The drama happened shortly before midnight at Cold Drawn Products in Park House Road, Low Moor.

The forklift driver raised the alarm after a flame shot up from the gas cylinder powering it.

The vehicle was destroyed in the fire and the whole unit was filled with smoke.

All workers were evacuated safely.

Odsal and Bradford firefighters attended the scene.
