Ticket sales are soaring for this year’s Bingley Music Live festival which is headlined by the Pet Shop Boys and whose final line-up has now been announced.

Newly-named acts for the festival on August 29, 30 and 31 at Myrtle Park, Bingley, include Nick Mulvey, Woman’s Hour and The Mispers.

They join a dazzling headline roll call of the Pet Shop Boys, Example, Shed Seven and Gaz Coombes of Supergrass.

BML can also boast that this is the Pet Shop Boys’ only UK festival appearance in the five mainland British dates of the band’s Electric World Tour.

Lee O’Hanlon, part of the BML team, said this year’s festival was a perfectly balanced combination of established success and “picking winners”.

“We’ve carefully got a really full line-up of bands and people who maybe at different stages of their careers, but are all justifiably successful,” Mr O’Hanlon said.

“And sales have really got off to a flying start – everything’s going grand.”

Nick Mulvey has already received critical recognition with a place on the BBC Sound of 2014 list – which predicts the artists who will be the next big thing for the year ahead.

Indie guitar outfit Woman's Hour have also been hailed by critics as future stars and have secured a place on Metronomy’s European tour.

London alt-rock quintet The Mispers sold out all their London shows and are building a solid fan base.
