Hairstylist Hannah Wardman is bracing herself to lose her own locks this autumn.
The 24-year-old is preparing to shave them off to raise money for two charities close to her heart and the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
“Anyone who knows me knows I love my hair and what a massive thing this is for me,” she said.
Hannah, who works at the Deluca salon in Thornton, hopes to raise £5,000.
She wants to give to  Multiple Sclerosis, which dad Neil has suffered for nine years, and cance reserach. She hopes an aunt who has recovered from breast cancer will cut her hair.
