The new Keighley Connexions Centre and Information Shop for Young People has opened its doors for the first time .
Now based in Keighley Town Hall, the centre, which was located within the Royal Arcade on Low Street, will continue to offer advice and guidance to young people between the ages of 13 and 24 on a wide range of issues.
Staff at the new centre support young on employment, housing and homelessness, money and benefits, education, training, health and family planning, personal rights and volunteering.
The centre will be run by Bradford Youth Service’s Information and Advice Team in partnership with Prospects Services, who deliver the Connexions Bradford contract.
It will continue to be a hub from which other organisations can provide drop-in services.
