A 19-year-old man was told to be “under no illusions” about his sentence after pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice.
Mohammed Shuaib, of Bempton Place, Little Horton, Bradford, a college student, yesterday admitted at Bradford Crown Court to giving false personal car insurance details to a police officer, between March 9 and 11 this year. He also pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report.
