A colourful cultural event of a totally different kind took place at Field Sports and Social Club where fundraisers hoped to break a world record for the number of people wearing onesies.
The goal was to raise cash for neonatal care at Bradford Royal Infirmary and, although there was a good turn-out, the world record remained unbroken.
“We were hoping for more than 2,000, but sadly only 400 or so managed to make it,” said one of the organisers, Connor Conley. “However many thanks to all those who turned up – everyone had a great time,” he said.
