Police are appealing to the Hungarian community for help to find a car wash worker who went missing last week.

Officers yesterday re-issued an appeal translated into Hungarian in the hopes of throwing up more leads. Tamas Fuchsz, who works at the Super Shine car wash in Heckmondwike, is said to understand little English.

He was last seen at a house party in Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, on Monday, April 28.

The 49-year-old had been drinking before he left at around 11.20pm and has not been seen since. Tamas was wearing a brown, possibly leather, jacket, a white shirt or t-shirt, black suit trousers and black dress shoes.

He is 5ft 7in, of medium build, has tidy straight collar length hair and is clean shaven. He also has a tattoo on his upper left arm which says “Alexandra”.

Detective Inspector Andy Parr from Dewsbury CID, said his disappearance was out of character.

Call Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
