A Bradford shopkeeper who failed to answer bail after being charged over possessing counterfeit cigarettes has now appeared in court.
Hemen Ahmed Hussain, 36, of Chiselhurst Place, was due to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Tuesday to answer 12 charges relating to Haji Euro Food on Southfield Lane. They include three charges of owning goods for sale with false trademarks. But he failed to appear, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Hussain has since been arrested and appeared at court yesterday. His case was adjourned and he was given unconditional bail until May 7.
