Bradford’s City of Film team has launched a new website aimed at promoting the district to film-makers around the world.

The website – bradfordfilmoffice.com – will streamline queries from industry professionals.

City of Film director David Wilson said the launch, and the re-launch of the Bradford Film Office in Little Germany, was in response to an increase in requests.

He said: “The Bradford Film Office is there to support funded professional productions of differing scales. We’re trying to capitalise on every film enquiry that comes in.

“There has recently been a marked increase in requests for film and TV locations and production support within the wider region.”

The office provides assistance and advice on locations, crew, assistance with permissions and liaison with highways, parking and traffic control and local services such as hotels and catering.

The team works with Creative England and the office also fields enquiries from production companies working on behalf of major broadcasters.

He said: “Bradford is using our UNESCO City of Film status to work with partner organisations.”
