Guides and Rangers pose with Olympic heroes
Guides and Rangers posed with two Olympic heroes as they took part in an expedition.
The 1st Addingham Senior Section and 1st Ilkley Rangers teamed up to send 19 young women off to the Dales for a practice expedition for bronze and silver awards.
Taking a break in Grassington, four of the bronze group met Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee and didn’t miss the opportunity to pose for a photograph, above.
Kathy Hunt and Karen Palframan are leaders in Addingham and Ilkley and say it is only by co-operating together that the expeditions can take place.
