A restored chapel at High Royds Memorial Garden will be open twice a month over the summer as part of activities planned this year by supporters.
The Friends of High Royds Memorial Garden, Menston, plan to open the chapel on Buckle Lane from 2pm to 4pm on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, from May to September, as a trial run.
The restored chapel and garden commemorates nearly 3,000 people who died at the former Menston psychiatric hospital.
Students of Dixon’s Academy in Bradford have written and produced a DVD film, with professional assistance, based on High Royds Memorial Garden and Chapel.
