The City of Bradford Pipe Band celebrated its centenary with a party and guests including the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain.
He helped cut the cake with the band’s Pipe Major Robert Jenkins and its youngest members (from left) dancers Rebecca Smith and Tiegan Newton and piper Ben Gillin A raffle supported by businesses helped make £270 towards the band’s funds and there are plans to make a DVD for people to buy.
New members wanting to join are welcome.
Practise sessions are weekly on Wednesdays from 6.30pm at Greengates Primary School in Stockhill Road.
