A new training scheme is about to start addressing equality issues for people with disabilities.

CONTACT, a Peer Support service for disabled people, is running the six-week project called Opening Doors.

The accredited training is for people with physical or sensory impairments, learning impairments or people who have experience of mental distress. The course will include learners identifying other groups of people who face discrimination and exclusion and will look at ways of challenging all forms of discrimination and disabling barriers. Opening Doors starts on Wednesday, April 30, at Carlisle Business Centre, Bradford, 10.30am- 2pm. Travel expenses and lunch will be provided.
