A group of football fans will arrive in Bradford on Sunday as part of a charity challenge to visit all 92 English Football League grounds in 92 hours.

Mike Harley, of Bristol, is leading a small team that is aiming to get to Bradford City’s Valley Parade home by 9.47am – and they want as many people as possible to pop down and see them.

The challenge is in support of Invest In ME, which is an ME research charity.

Mr Harley said: “Our aim is to raise awareness for ME which we feel is an illness which doesn’t get the funding and research many others do. My childhood friend Ian has suffered with the illness for more than seven years and new research could help him and up to 250,000 other sufferers get back to living normal lives.”

The team’s challenge started on Wednesday at Plymouth Argyle. They will visit Leeds United before Bradford, and Huddersfield Town afterwards. They aim to finish on Monday morning at Middlesbrough.

More than 40 clubs across all four divisions have offered matchday programme features, signed kit and a chance to meet players.
