Ooh La La! The Lord Mayor of Bradford is getting ready for a charity knees- up! Councillor Khadim Hussain (pictured) will be meeting a troupe of Can-Can girls from Q20 Theatre Company on Tuesda at City Hall to get in some dance practice before his Parisian Ball at the Hilton Hotel on Saturday, May 3.

More than 350 guests will join him for an evening of entertainment and fundraising in support of Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure, his chosen charity. The theme for the ball was chosen to tie-in with the visit of the Tour de France Grand Depart to the Bradford district this summer.

The Lord Mayor said: “I am thrilled that so many people have bought tickets. Some of the athletes from Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure will be joining us, which will give us the opportunity to celebrate their many recent sporting triumphs.”
