Springtime saunters have been lined up around Saltaire.
A series of walks around Saltaire and Baildon exploring the area’s history have been organised and the first is during Saltaire World Heritage Weekend and the Shipley Glen Tramway Founder’s Weekend.
It is on Saturday, April 26, at 10.30am, a three-mile circular walk around Shipley Glen and Bracken Hall Green, finishing with a ride down the Tramway. Along the way, walkers can hear about the lost heritage of Shipley Glen. And there is a chance to see early photos of attractions in the Tramway museum. All walks meet at the Half Moon Café in Roberts Park, Saltaire.
