Action plan to tackle bad parking in Steeton and Keighley areas
Further action is planned to tackle parking problems caused by visitors and staff at Airedale Hospital.
Bradford Council has introduced parking restrictions at the Thornhill Road estate, Steeton, where indiscriminate parking had caused danger on corners.
The Council’s Keighley Area Committee has now granted money for similar measures at Harefield Close in Eastburn among £30,000 of Traffic Regulations Orders.
The orders include a restriction on heavy goods vehicles travelling through Laycock, and changes to parking restrictions in Main Street, Haworth.
New parking restrictions will improve visibility for drivers at several junctions in the area.
