Fans of Bradford City Football Club are being encouraged to saddle up for a 150-mile charity bike ride.
Less than a week before the World Cup starts in Brazil, representatives of all 72 Football League clubs can join former England star Luther Blissett in the London to Amsterdam event.
Money raised will support Prostate Cancer UK – the Football League’s charity partner. Steve Hawthorn-Emmett, Bradford City’s head of marketing will lead the Bantams contingent comprising former Bradford City player Louis Horne, Luke Gallagher, City’s programme editor, and club sponsor Billy Bingham, of Synergy People Solutions.
They will use pedal power to conquer the 150-mile challenge which begins in East London on Friday, June 6, from Leyton Orient’s Matchroom Stadium, and ends in the Dutch capital the following day.
Supporters can donate to the team by visiting their Just Giving page at justgiving.com/prostatecanceruk.
