Parents of pupils at St Columba’s Catholic Primary School in Dudley Hill, Bradford, have celebrated their children’s achievements after a special art project led by Bradford’s Impressions Gallery.

Over the last four weeks, pupils in Year Five have joined in workshops inspired by Hidden, an exhibition on display in school by acclaimed photographer Red Saunders featuring large-scale photographs that re-imagine significant but overlooked events in British history.

Youngsters did a photographic shoot, dressed in historical costume, and recreated scenes throughout different periods in history – and parents were given the chance to come in and see what their children had created.
