Nine Air Cadets from Shipley and Baildon Squadron are celebrating gaining a first-aid qualification.
Cadets Asim Ali, Megan Eklid, Mohammed Idrees, Alisha Qureshi, Tom Marshall, Michael Wells, Zain Mahmood and Corporals Andrew Payn and Rashad Ali gained the Young First Aiders Award.
The awards were presented at a ceremony at 2458 squadron’s headquarters by Flight Lieutenant Eileen Dibb.
The cadets followed a six-hour course which gives students grounding in managing an incident and common first-aid skills.
Squadron Media Communications Officer Dr Peter Isherwood said: “Gaining the first-aid qualification is a great achievement for all the cadets concerned. There are many examples of cadets using the knowledge they have gained to aid people who have been injured or in difficulty.
