Patients across Bradford who have suffered a stroke are being invited to share their experiences to help shape future decisions about healthcare.
The Stroke Community Support Services Engage-ment event is being jointly organised by NHS Bradford City and NHS Bradford Districts Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) at Douglas Mill, Bowling Old Lane, Bradford, on Monday from 3pm to 5pm.
The two CCGs want to hear from those who have suffered a stroke, what their experiences were and what they think about community support services. They also want people to share their views about what would make life easier for them – now and in the future.
As well as stroke patients, carers and service users – health and social care professionals, organisations and patient groups are also being invited to give their opinions.
The event will also be an opportunity to find out more about the work of CCGs.
Anyone who cannot get to the event but would still like to share their experience of having a stroke and getting care, can contact engage@bradford.nhs.uk.
