A Bradford busker has made the finals of a national singing contest.
Matt Fletcher beat off competition from singers from across the region in auditions for The Printworks Unsigned.
He sang Adele’s Oscar-winning hit Skyfall and is now one of eight finalists competing in the final on Saturday, April 12.
Matt said: “I’ve been performing for about two or three years and I’ve always enjoyed busking.
“I entered The Printworks Unsigned at the last minute. Someone approached me on the day of the competition. I was busking in the city centre and they came over to say ‘There’s a singing competition going on in The Printworks, why don’t you enter?’ So I did!
“It’s really cool to be through to the finals, especially as I was really nervous before my audition.”
