Keighley-based Freemasons the Royal Yorkshire Lodge have given a cash boost to the town’s Salvation Army.
The lodge has handed over a £1,000 cheque, to support the High Street church’s foodbank.
The money was raised through various activities, including raffles and social evenings, during Chris Rushton’s year as worshipful master.
“The lodge has helped us out before and we are extremely grateful for its support,” said Chris Bown, Keighley Salvation Army development manager.
“A few months ago it gave us £1,000 towards the purchase of a food container.
“This latest donation will be used to buy food.”
