Detectives are appealing for information to an attempted robbery in Bradford.

At about 3pm yesterday, two men entered commercial premises in Haworth Road, Chellow Heights, and made demands for cash before trying to force their way into the staff area.

The men fled from the premises empty-handed in a white vehicle with black alloy wheels, believed to have been a Nissan or Subaru and driven by a third suspect.

A fourth passenger was possibly in the vehicle, which drove off towards Sandy Lane.

No-one was injured.

The two suspects, who wore face coverings and gloves were believed to be white. Both were of medium build.

One was about 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing grey trousers and a light blue hooded top. The other was slightly taller and wearing dark trousers and a dark hooded top.

Both spoke with local accents and were possibly carrying hammers or axes.
