A city centre pub has been toasting the best of all things Bradford to mark English Tourism Week.

Staff at Jacob’s, near Jacob’s Well, took up the challenge to get involved in a week-long celebration showcasing what makes the city such a positive visitor experience.

Landlady Christina Wagstaff has been selling a grand total of 26 locally brewed ales all this week and tonight she will be putting on complimentary Yorkshire food as her way of highlighting West Yorkshire’s micro brewing industry and its potential impact on tourism.

Baroness Margaret Eaton from Bradford has been invited to call in and pull a pint for visitors and there may be some local musicians too.
