Celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie will be in Saltaire on Friday, speaking about his work with a cancer charity.
He will be showing Macmillan Cancer Support staff at the charity’s office at The Waterfront how to help people who have lost their hair after treatment.
His visit is to announce a partnership between Macmillan and his charity, mynewhair, which supports people with medical hair loss.
His network of trained hair professionals provide advice and wig-cutting services to people who have lost their hair after illness.
From today the two organisations will work together to direct people to each other’s vital services.
Mr Sorbie said: “I have always had great admiration for the work Macmillan does and now far more ladies who can benefit from the wig customisation service that mynewhair offers will be made aware of it.”
