Volunteers from Bradford have beaten hundreds of groups from across the country to be crowned winners of the Most Outstanding National Citizen Service Team award 2014.
NCS Bradford received the accolade at the annual vInspired ceremony at the IndigO2 Arena in London, where their youth worker, Pauline King, also won an individual award.
The vInspired awards recognise and celebrate the achievements and dedication of young volunteers and youth workers who have made an extraordinary contribution to their communities through volunteering.
NCS Bradford consists of 14 young people from across the district who embarked on a variety of community volunteering projects, ranging from residential home visits, environmental projects, community days, charity fundraising, and supporting local food banks.^
