Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland has welcomed the granting of extra Government cash to help repair roads in his constituency.
Leeds Council is to receive £949,426 from the Government to fix potholes and other problems on its highways over the coming year.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer announced in his March budget that an additional £168 million – following on from confirmation of a £183.5 million grant earlier this year – would be made available to England’s local authorities.
