A Bradford-based learning and wellbeing project that has trained hundreds of residents has been shortlisted for a national award celebrating the best community projects.
Incommunities’ SWAN Programme helps people improve their lives and get into work or start up their own business – so far it has worked with more than 1,400 people.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 7, at the National Housing Federation’s Community Impact Awards in York.
The awards celebrate the difference that England’s housing associations make through creating opportunities and bringing local communities together.
More than 60 projects were shortlisted and there were 180 entries.
