Probation staff in Bradford will go on strike on Monday as part of national industrial action.
They will walk out at noon and stay out until midnight on April 1.
It is part of a dispute between Napo, the trade union for probation and family court staff, and the Government over the latter’s plans to privatise 70 per cent of the probation service.
Napo says the plans will have a significant impact on public safety and public protection.
This is the union’s fifth strike in its 103-year history and the second in relation to this issue.
