Otley will become a hive of literary activity this weekend.
Otley Word Feast's 2014 Celebration Weekend will see venues across town hosting writing workshops, talks and readings from Friday to Sunday, March 30.
The event kicks off with the Grand Opening Feast at Korks Wine Bar from 7pm on the Friday, which will incude a prize giving ceremony, entertainment, a supper and a book stall.
Other highlights will include Sonnets and Scones, with James Nash, and A Terribly Sedate and Right Proper Poetry Reading, featuring Char March, and storytelling with Vickie Orton's Flight of Fancy at Otley Labour Rooms.
Local historian Paul Wood will give talk on eight centuries of Otley, while Otley Library will hold several free children's activities.
