Doodles drawn by a host of Yorkshire celebrities have fetched hundreds of pounds for Yeadon-based charity Epilepsy Action.
Many of the region’s famous faces, including Ricky Wilson, Alan Titchmarsh, Dickie Bird and Sir Michael Parkinson all put pen to paper for National Doodle Day’s celebrity auction on eBay. Together they raised £667.63, with Kaiser Chiefs frontman Wilson’s doodle going for £169.
The ten-day national auction featured scribbles by more than 200 stars and raised £9,000 to help the 600,000 people living with epilepsy across the UK.
