A couple who met at a dance in Bradford have celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.
Harry and Betty Wilson were married at Greengates Parish Church in March 1954.
Sixty years on, they celebrated their marriage with family and friends at a party at Thornton Lodge near Blackpool.
Harry, 85, said he met Betty, 81, dancing at Kings and Queens in Bradford.
Both were born and educated in Bradford, with Harry going on to enjoy a career as an engineer. Betty worked for a confectioner’s on Thornton Road, Bradford.
Harry also served with the Second Battalion West Yorkshire regiment in the Far East between 1946 and 1948, just after World War Two.
The couple now live on Kensington Street, Girlington, and have two children - Shelley, 58, and Neville, 54 - three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
