Titus Salt School at Baildon is taking part in the BBC News School Report Day when students will focus on stories of local, national and international interest.
A host of professionals and celebrities will be on site to be interviewed by aspiring reporters.
Interviewees include rugby hero Sir Ian McGeechan; Leigh Marklew, a member of the band Terrovision; a television director who recently won two National Television Awards and a Chief Inspector at West Yorkshire Police.
Year eight students have organised a morning of press conference-style interviews followed by an intensive article writing session and review.
Sir Ian McGeechan, accompanied by several England rugby union players, and Dave Duxbury, community rugby coach of the RFU, is also going to run a coaching session.
