A Shipley charity is gearing up for Le Grand Depart with some special Easter chicks.

A team of knitters at the Yorkshire charity Carers’ Resource, which has an office in St Paul’s Road, Shipley, has created a range of woollen chicks to help raise funds.

And this year’s batch features several sporting cycling helmets and glasses in readiness for the Tour de France coming to the region in July.

The chicks come with a Cadbury’s creme egg and are on sale at the Carers’ Resource for £1.50 each.

Other designs include French-style outfits and each one is unique. For more information contact the Carers’ Resource on (01274) 449660, or find the Carers’ Resource Easter Chicks on Facebook.
