Bradford developer Artisan Homes joins Spring Clean for Forget Me Not children's hospice

Bradford-based Artisan Homes has teamed up with the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice to encourage people moving home to donate unwanted items to raise funds for the charity.

First time buyers and new tenants of Artisan Homes, which has its head office in Wibsey, will be given charity bags by Artisan staff and asked if they would be willing to have a spring clean in aid of the hospice.

Darren Ludbrook, managing director of Artisan Homes, said: “We recently signed up to donate to the charity every month as part of their 99ers scheme and it was then that we noticed their Spring Clean campaign urging people to donate unwanted clothes and items to Forget Me Not stores in West Yorkshire.

“We meet lots and lots of house movers who have a good clear-out of things they don’t want any more before going into their new home, so we’re ideally placed to promote the campaign and do what we can to help the charity raise vital funds.”

Kate Goldring, corporate partners manager at the Huddersfield hospice, said: “It’s great to have the support of Artisan Homes for our Spring Clean Campaign.”
