A lasting memorial to the life of a little Keighley boy who loved fun and laughter has been officially unveiled at the school he attended.
Pupils, parents and staff gathered outside Worth Valley Primary School to open the newly-constructed trim trail in memory of Riley Turner.
Four-year-old Riley was killed at his home in Harewood Road, Bracken Bank, in January last year.
His murderer, Anwar Rosser, is serving a whole-life sentence.
Riley’s twin brother Mackenzie was the first child to be able to clamber onto the trim trail.
Riley’s mum Sharon Smith, who cut the ribbon to launch the trail and helped Mackenzie negotiate the course, said: “I just want to say thank-you to everybody for all their support and what they’ve done for us.
“I think the trim trail looks great – the kids just love it.”
Her partner, Guy Earwaker, said: “This will always be a special place for Riley.”
