Driver is freed fromk car after collision
A woman was freed from her car by firefighters after a crash in Birstall yesterday. Her vehicle collided with another car on Low Lane at about 6.10pm. Fire crews from Batley station were called to the scene. A fire service spokesman said the woman was complaining of a neck injury. The road was blocked while emergency services dealt with the incident.
