Easter is set to take on a new flavour with a sport-based holiday camp in Bradford.
Youngsters aged from five to 13 will be able to join a range of activities from dance to martial arts, and much of the theme will revolve around Easter.
The club is being run by Pro-Active Sports (UK) at Woodlands Cricket Club in Oakenshaw from April 14 to 25 – including Good Friday and Easter Monday. Sessions will be from 10am to 3pm, operated by qualified coaches.
On offer will be multi-sports, dance, cheerleading, martial arts, arts and crafts, forest activities and detectives’ clubs. There will also be Easter running competitions, egg hunts and working in groups.
Sabrina Furniss of Pro-Active Sports said: “The camp will give working parents an alternative childcare arrangement. We feel it is something that will be very popular for school holidays during the rest of the year.”
